The methodology suggested by IBM added to the treatment of cross-cutting themes of Human Development that Aehda provides to all its participants, in order to reduce the barriers of social, educational, gender and ethnic inequality.

To conclude the first cycle of the campaign in the entity, held together with a class of 14 apprentices, between 15 and 18 years old, the volunteer Francisco, together with the social educators Adriana Pellegrino and Elaine Reis, promoted an afternoon of chat with active participation of young people. The covered topics were Social Inclusion of carriers of  Special Care, Homosexuality, Bullyng, Gender Equality and Respect for Diversity.

According to volunteer Francisco, these activities better prepare young people to overcome their barriers, limits, prejudices and enter into social life with a more supportive and respectful view of what is different. "It was a great opportunity, a real teamwork, and an important IBM initiative."

The content will be applied in the other classes from the third quarter of 2017. Approximately 400 young people will participate.
